Then came the merchants which overthrew castles (US independance, French Revolution,…) and spread wealth in houses, while universities replaced temples as the places where knowledge was shared and developed but the caserns prevailed.
However it seems that temples have been on the back since the late XIXth century, when looking at stock market around the world
Can / Should stock-exchange building should be considered as temples?
Markets can create huge inequalities between big players and small players as they developped from an open market to markets with centralised buying/selling power at some point of the value chain, chocking masses of sellers / buyers of their profits and margins.
The long term effect is that Investment is rewarded equally independent of the risk.
